Gertrude’s Institute of Child Health & Research is embedded within Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital the most established tertiary paediatric referral and teaching hospital in Eastern and Central Africa. Since 1999, the Institute has trained 3200+ specialised nurses, emergency care providers, and paediatric professionals through immersive, hands-on clinical education delivered inside the hospital environment by practicing specialists. This is where Africa’s paediatric workforce is trained to global standards inside one of the continent’s leading centres for child health, research, and clinical excellence.
