No to Discrimination
It is the policy and commitment of Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital not to discriminate on the basis of race, age, colour, sex, national origin, physical or mental disability, health, or religion.

No to Harassment
Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital does not condone harassment of anybody including staff and customers. Harassment of a patient, client, staff member, or visitor because of that person’s race, age, colour, sex, national origin, tribe, physical or mental disability, or religion is specifically prohibited. Harassment includes, but is not limited to, bullying, cyberbullying, all forms of sexual harassment, intimidation.

No to Workplace Violence
Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital has a zero-tolerance policy to all forms of violence against members of staff, patients, and customers.

Prompt Reporting
Any employee, patient, client, student, volunteer, visitor, or trustee is strongly encouraged to report any incidents of discrimination, harassment, or violence to the Chief Executive Officer through info@gerties.org for investigation and action.
